These are two :15 animated promos for Nick Jr. based on a child's imaginative VO recording. The goal was to capture the essence of childhood creativity and education. Children want to play, laugh, and learn through new experiences that help them grow and understand how our world works. 

An important aspect of children is their innocence and lack of need for perfection. If something is already perfect than where's the opportunity to grow? Inspired by the inconsistencies and natural forms of clay, I was able to design environments that capture this child's imagination as if he were to build it himself. 

This is an experimental perspective of dreams and nightmares. It represents the times when you may be in a dream that you'd really like to wake up from yet you can't seem to find your way out. The opportunity may appear but with the illusions of a dream it only drags you deeper.

Most fantasies depict dragons as evil beings breathing fire and destroying kingdoms. Like all other creatures, dragons have feelings, families, and a desire for peace so why must they be evil? As humans we fear things that could be seen as a threat and I think a giant, flying creature would be one of them. As humans expand throughout Earth of course they'd come across the home of a dragon and have the motive to take their land, calling them the invaders. Really, they're only giant, territorial beings protecting themselves like all other animals. Let them be.

A top finalist for the Sarasota Film Festival. This was a collaborative project demonstrating the heart in mind of independent films and the freedom they allow compared to featured films.

Design for the 2016 Olympics in Brazil. Inspired by the colorful tiles throughout the streets of Brazil and the city's street layout. Combing my references with bright colors and creative designs, I was able to create a unique, energetic package for the Rio Olympics.

A collaborative PSA for a local charity organization. Objective was to create an animation that portrays the emotion that many feel when they lack the basic necessity of having food. It shows the impact we can have by simply lending a hand or offering food to to though's in need. 

Use of Photoshop for design and, assets, and textures. Photography/film for footage of the plate. Nuke for tracking. Cinema 4D for modeling, lighting and animation. After Effects for compositing, animation, and color correcting.

A creative vision for the well known MTV Video Music Awards. This also includes styleframes for other aspects of the awards. Displays use of Photoshop for design, Cinema 4D for modeling, lighting, textures, and animation, and After Effects for compositing, additional lighting and color correcting. 

Overlaying imagery of cityscapes and photoshop painted textures onto c4d models to create a grungy 3d portal representation.
